Hey Humanist!
My name is Klara Frändfors, and I am the section chairperson at Humanisten for Göta studentkår. That means that I work full-time to ensure that you get a student life to fondly remember, and an education to be proud of!
Together with my amazing section board, we monitor your education, your working enviroment, and support th study/social activities at Humanisten. Do you think your exam has been unfairly graded? That it's too cold in the classroom, or perhaps that there should be an association for the subject you study? Then you should contact us!
Humseks board
The board is democratic body consisting of students who study at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Gothenburg. We are members of Göta studentkår, and have been elected to lead the student unions operation, as well as representing the students there. Our responsibility is to represent you who study at Humanisten toward the faculty and it's departments, but also to develop the stuednt union at Humanisten through finding student representatives, supporting our associations, and organizing our labour fair FramtidsHum!

Tim Stockelberg
Yo! My name is Tim Stockelberg and I am 20 years old. I'm currently studying my first year at the Liberal Arts Programme, but I have previously studied philosophy.
My area of responsibility is the work environment. This means that I speak on behalf of the students regarding everything that affects our studying, from non-ergonomic chairs and poor air quality in classrooms to stressful schedules and Canvas! This year, I want to inform even more people about the ongoing work environment efforts and establish SAMOs at all departments! A SAMO is a student representative for the work environment, just like me, but at departmental level. I also want to see more students get involved in Göta student union, and for the collaboration with the faculty and between the union's sections to become stronger!
My email address is shamo.humsek@gota.gu.se, but it’s also perfectly fine to grab me if you see me on campus!
Matilda Ekström
Hi! My name is Matilda and I am 22 years old. I am studying for a bachelor's degree in literature!
On the section board, I am responsible for student social activities. In other words, I am the event planner of the group! I organize study sessions, help with the orientation week and its kick-off, and plan lots of other fun things that you will see in the future! I want to create opportunities for students to feel a sense of community and provide new ways to be active in student life!
You can contact me on the email adress studiesocialt.humsek@gota.gu.se!
Carl Sandoff
Hey! My name is Carl Sandoff and I am 22 years old. I am on my second year of the Liberal Arts bachelor's programme! I serve as the labour market chairperson, which means that I am responsible for connecting humanities students’ studies with the job market.
During my time as labour market chairperson, I want to take our career fair to the next level. FramtidsHUM had an amazing start in 2025, and for the 2026 fair, I want to build onto that by bringing in more companies, with even greater diversity among them, and further develop the fair's presentation in line with those of other faculties.
Do you have any ideas about what you would like to see at FramtidsHUM 2026? Don’t hesitate to get in touch so we can discuss! The easiest way to reach me is via email at arbetsmarknad.humsek@gota.gu.se or by grabbing me on campus!
Evelina Söderström
Hello! My name is Evelina Söderström and I am 25 years old! Right now, I am on my second year studying MEK: Media, Aesthetics, and Cultural Entrepreneurship.
I am the communicator on the board! This means that I am behind all our posts, stories, reels, and responses to DMs. In short, I work with our “public face.” My goal is to reach out to our students, classmates, researchers, and everyone else by bringing new life to our social media channels. It should be easy to find information about exciting events, assignments, and get an insight into what we actually do behind the scenes!
Do you have questions or ideas? Email me at kommunikation.humsek@gota.gu.se or come and say hi if you see me on campus!
